The requirement for admitting a student in the Kindergarten:

All applicants must be willing to learn the English language. Application papers should be filled up with proper information and to be submitted to the MIC Main Office. Take note of the age requirements in the different level-

a. Nursery Level- The child must be 1.5 to 2.5 years of age.
b. Playgroup Level- The child must be 2.6 to 3.5 years of age.
c. Preparatory Level- The child must be 3.6 to 4.5 years of age and toilet trained.
d. Kindergarten I Level- The applicant must be 5 years old by January of the coming school year and has a background in the basic skills of learning.
e. Kindergarten II Level- The applicant must be 6 years old by January of the coming school year and must have pre-school experience for at least one year. Evaluation Tests are given to applicants without experience in pre-school.

 

For the Primary Level:

First, the applicant is required to take Evaluation Tests to determine what grade level he or she should be and to be able to know his or her academic proficiency.

After that, the applicant will have feedback as to what proper grade level he or she can go to.

Finally, the applicant, with the parent or guardian, is asked to fill-up the application form available in the Main Office and pay the commensurate fees.

 

For the High School Level:

For a student to be a part of High School in MIC, the student should present his or her previous report card.  If a new student coming from another school wants to enroll, he or she will have an interview with the Principal.  An evaluation or diagnostic test may be done to find out his academic proficiency.  Upon recommendation, the student will be accepted as a regular student in the high school afterwards.
