The Fifth Graduation Ceremony
The fifth graduation ceremony of Maputo International College was done on November 24 for the primary department and on November 23 for the kindergarten. Both were held at the University of Eduardo Mondlane's Auditorium Complex, beginning and ending at the same time.
In the kindergarten department, there were a total of 46 graduates, with 17 boys and 29 girls, while there were 28 boys and 21 girls for a total of 49 graduates in the primary.
Loyalty awards were given to students who had attended MIC since kindergarten. Behavioral awards and other certificates, like those from quiz bee contests and arts and computer competitions, were handed out to deserving students.
The highest award that was given might be Academic Excellence with First Honor. It is to recognize the students who gained a general annual average of 95% or above without any grades lower than 85. Mhir Darmesh Sacarlal from the primary school achieved this genius feat. Anjika Verma finished second, but she still received a gold medal.
Congratulations, graduates, and get ready for high school next year! See you all soon, and have a wonderful holiday season!
